One of Pikachu's trademarks is the abbility to use electricity as attacks. He does nothing less for his Super Nuke, so expect to see the sparks fly with this shocking attack! Of course, first, smash that Nuke Ball!
Quite a handy way of getting it!
When Pikachu has been granted a Super Nuke, the field of play changes. You're going to want to evade the space above Pikachu the most. Luckily, he gives a quick warning sign before he does this move.
One giant stream of thunder upward. It's so powerful, and if you get caught in the Discharge, you get multiple electricity hits before you're launched into the sky. Even when you're caught in just the ending of the blow, you'll be sure to feel it. Connecting and catching multiple opponents in it feels good!
What a feeling!
There is one more thing: Discharge pulls players into the attack if they're close enough. This has a big advantage for Pikachu, and the only way to truly avoid this attack is to stay far away from it. Ah, and one more handy technique:
Change the trajectory?!
If you're on small slopes in the stage, try using this attack there. You'll immediately notice the attack changes it's trajectory. Sometimes maybe just for a little bit, but it might be the decisive hit.
