Samus: Moveset

Being a little heavy, it's surprising that Samus has some very quick attacks. She's packed with alot of weapons, and by having two projectile firing moves, Samus is someone you don't want to have against you!

It's time to go over her moves.

-Aerial Attack: Burst-

Keep a steady hand!

Samus fires quick bursts from her arm cannon. While in the air, press the Action Button to perform Burst. It has 4 consecutive hits. If you want to knock your opponent downward, try landing the last hit of the move.

-Up Special Move: Screw Attack-

It's buzzing with electricity.

Pressing up along with the Special Move button will make Samus leap high into the air, very quickly. As she does this, she curls into a ball, and electricity sparks all around her. This move traps enemies, and drags them along with her! In doing this, it can be used to deal some good damage, and also to recover to the stage.

-Standard Special Move: Charge Shot-

A full charge is a great finishing move.

This can be a very deadly move if used correctly. Pess the Special Move button to start charging energy. Pressing it again will release a powerful blast of energy straight forwards. When fully charged, this can hit hard. You can store the charge you've gained at any time by pressing a direction to roll out of the charge position. Be warned, you are vulnerable whilst charging your attack!

-Down Special Move: Bomb-

Straight out of Metroid Prime.

Samus curls up into a tight ball, and drops a bomb. After a short while, this bomb explodes. This doesn't deal too much damage, but it has other uses. If Samus is on top of this bomb, in her ball, when it explodes, it will make her jump! If she hits an enemy during this jump, she deals damage to them! Handy! She can also stay in ball form, and roll around the stage by holding the Special Move button.

-Side Special Move: Missile-

Up close it's devestating!

This is pretty basic. Pressing sideways along with the Special Move button will make Samus fire a missile out of her arm cannon! This starts off pretty slow, and speeds up as it travels forwards. You can aim the trajectory by quickly pressing up or down after fiting the Missile!

Oh, wow. Samus is full of surprises.
