In our first public demo, we only had the multiplayer game mode called Stock Matches. These are default settings for a match that create a survival test type mode. You start off with the ammount of lives you selected beforehand, and when you get knocked off screen, you, of course, lose one life.
The standard Stock Match setting is 3 lives.
Moving on, in-game it will display the face of your character above your damage percentage and franchise icon. Keep track of it to know how well you're fairing in a match. Of course, for seasoned players, the score it kept in their minds while playing.
Character heads display on the bottom of the screen.
It would be a little strange to have 20 character icons spread over the screen, so if you choose more then 5 lives, the score will be shown in regular numbers. The maximum number of lives is 99.
Well, it looks organized, right?
Stock matches keep track of three important things: KO's, KO'd, and SD'd (Self Destructed). As you can see below, Mario had a splendid victory not getting KO'd once and getting 3 solid points.
There are more Versus modes.. Be sure to keep track!
